TOROT is an original 72-card wisdom deck inspired by the people, stories, symbols and teachings of Torah and Kabbalah. It was created as a meaningful tool for personal reflection, spiritual exploration, journaling, study and honest conversation.
The name TOROT draws from the Hebrew plural of Torah: teachings. Every card presents a distinct lesson that can help illuminate a situation, reveal a pattern or encourage a more thoughtful next step.
The deck follows one continuous sequence from Card 0 through Card 71. It begins with Abraham, who leaves the familiar in response to a greater calling, and concludes with V’Zot HaBerachah, the final Torah portion and the blessing that leads into a new beginning.
The first eighteen cards represent the great archetypes and defining experiences of life. Abraham, Joseph, the Shekhinah, the Matriarchs, Moses, Adam and Eve, Jacob’s Ladder, Miriam’s Well and other enduring images explore calling, choice, courage, temptation, transformation, hope, illumination and repair.
The remaining fifty-four cards follow the complete cycle of weekly Torah portions, from Bereshit through V’Zot HaBerachah. Each portion becomes a practical human lesson about family, relationships, leadership, justice, responsibility, adversity, gratitude and personal growth.
TOROT is not limited to one method of use. The cards can be approached according to the needs of the moment, whether that means exploring an important question, beginning the day with a single teaching or finding a new point of entry into Torah wisdom.
Draw one card for the day and consider how its teaching relates to your decisions, relationships, responsibilities or present state of mind.
Use one-card, three-card or larger arrangements to examine a situation from several perspectives without treating the future as fixed or unavoidable.
Use the deck for journaling, weekly reflection, discussion groups or a deeper exploration of the moral questions found throughout Torah.
Each TOROT card contains both a constructive expression and a challenging expression. Courage can become recklessness. Patience can become passivity. Leadership can become control. Solitude can produce wisdom, but it can also become isolation.
The purpose of the deck is not to label a card as simply good or bad. It is to help the reader recognize which part of the teaching is active and how that energy may be understood, balanced or redirected.
